What to expect

Your first Sunday, in plain language.

A few honest answers to the questions people ask before they walk through the door for the first time.

We open in prayer — not a performance, just a conversation with God. From there our praise team leads worship. We make space for testimonies — real stories from real people about what God has been doing that week. Then our minister brings the message, grounded in scripture and spoken plainly. No jargon. No fluff.

Come as you are. There's no dress code here. Some people dress up, some people come casual — what matters is that you show up.

Sunday School starts at 12:30 PM if you want to go deeper before service. Main service begins at 2:00 PM. Either way, you're welcome.

Not at all. The doors are open to everyone. You can attend every Sunday for years before deciding to become a member — that's entirely up to you.

No one is going to put you on the spot or ask you to stand up and introduce yourself. Just come in, find a seat, and let the service speak to you. When you're ready, we'll be here.

Our congregation has been faithful. Week after week, people give — not because they have to, but because they believe in what’s being built here. Right now, we’re working toward one specific goal together: replacing our entrance and side doors before the end of summer.

We are more than a Sunday service.

We are more than a Sunday service — though right now, Sunday is where you’ll find us in full.

What’s growing here includes a Youth Ministry already reaching young people in this neighborhood with back‑to‑school giveaways, Vacation Bible School, and Christmas toy drives. A Women’s Ministry taking shape. A mobile outreach that goes near Douglas Park distributing hot meals, clothing, and basic necessities to people who need them.

These aren’t programs yet — they’re seeds. And seeds need community to grow. If any of this calls to something in you, come on Sunday. That’s where it all starts.
